LITTLE LORD FAUNTLEROY

Hey REAL blog, didja miss me?
Yeah, I got sucked into that visually-stimulating impulse-image-whore realm of tumblr (there are so many naked ladies on it) for a while, but HEY, here I AM.
Anyway,
this is a look I am really into right now, probably because I've been working on those songs about Eddie Munster (and having weirdly romantic and sexy Munsters dreams-NO,not with EDDIE). It's the Little Lord Fauntleroy look!

What a skeezy face, but what a great outfit!

Oscar Wilde, doin' a thing.

Klarion the Witch Boy!

Eddie Munster!
In case you think I am a creep, hey look, it works on grown women:
JEAN SHRIMPTON

I think this will be my back-to-school look. Sure, little boys don't have the kind of huge hips/ass package I got, but HEY, I'll make it work! Just gotta churn out some starched collars over here!

DREAMS IN THE WITCH HOUSE

I am working really hard to get my goth e.p. finished. It's a lo-fi mixture of batcave and coldwave (because I said so). Here's the artwork in progress:
DREAMS IN THE WITCH HOUSE e.p. cover
If you like sleazy songs dedicated to Eddie Munster, Rudimentary Peni covers, and love songs about Theda Bara, the King in Yellow, and the planet Yuggoth, then you'll LOVE Dreams in the Witch House! If you sign up for MONSTER OF THE MONTH CLUB, you'll get a copy of this, complete with a mini comic and illustrated lyric book. YEAH.

On an unrelated note, here are some comics I drew while at school and in mega-breakup-mode:

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

The "BABY WITCH PARTY" Proposal:

I want to create a printed magazine of erotic comics, illustration, and writing using grotesque and pornographic interpretations of femininity from a queer perspective. This does not mean total gross-outs and straight up porno (although I am totally happy with submissions of that ilk). Essentially, I want a compilation of sexy/witchy/upsetting girlie shit. Some identity or previous identity with the Feminine is preferred-I've received some of brutal veiled misogynist submissions. I'm also accepting some more masculine work, but it should be from a queer perspective and should touch upon feminine ideas (gender fluidity, femininity in nature, etc etc) without fetishizing them. Essentially, the artists' perspective on the feminine aspect and your treatment of the pornographic aspect are up to interpretation. If this is too broad, let me know and I will assign more guidelines.
This will be in black and white (or grayscale). I would like the deadline to be around late August, because I want to format this in time to print it at school.

The title "Baby Witch Party" is from a quote in the 1950s Kim Novak witch movie, Bell Book and Candle, which is very queer and treats witches like underground homosexuals.

Here are some of my own aesthetic inspirations for this, but please surprise me with your own interpretations of the zine's intentions:
The artwork of Helen Chadwick,Carolee Schneeman, Hannah Wilke, and others of the 1970s feminist art movement, the writing of Angela Carter,Shirley Jackson,Emma Donohue, Lara Glenum, etc; the movies Barbarella,Rosemary's Baby, Carrie, Badlands, Alucarda (and most lesbian vampire movies), Valerie and Her Week of Wonders, Black Moon, Suspiria, Let's Scare Jessica to Death, Blood on Satan's Claw, The Haunting, Carnival of Souls, The Wicker Man
The vampire story "Carmilla" and the Coleridge poem "Christabel," Victorian gothic fiction, drag culture, Kate Bush, female spiders,Mercy Brown (the Rhode Island vampire), Barbara from Night of the Living Dead,Heavy Metal Magazine, silent film star Theda Bara,Candy Darling, etc etc etc

Does any of this make sense?
Anyway, please get in touch if interested, show your support, and let's make this a reality! Coz if it's just me making this, it'll be a magazine full of flapper chicks covered in blood and boning in a haunted house or something( I kid, I kid) , and I want artistic diversity!
AWESOME!
